Our Story
Pragathi Charitable Trust was established in Bangalore in 2005 to address the educational and developmental needs of children from migrant worker families, slum communities, and other marginalized backgrounds.
The organization began with a mission to provide educational support and opportunities for children who were unable to access formal schooling. Starting with 155 children in learning centers located within underserved communities, Pragathi worked to bridge educational gaps and help children transition into mainstream education.
Over the years, the organization expanded its work to include community health initiatives, women’s empowerment programs, senior citizen support services, and broader community development activities.
Today, Pragathi continues its commitment to empowering individuals and communities through education, skill development, healthcare access, and social support.
